Jehovah-Jireh My Provider

The appointment for our home study update was a week and a half ago.  It was about to expire since our adoption process has taken longer than they did a year to two ago.  No big changes have happened over the last 18 months, so I was an easy process.  During our meeting we decided we wanted to expand the ages that we were requesting from 24 month to 30 months old or younger and included some special needs.  While we were discussing this, our agency's caseworker said SOSEE was hoping to be able to refer some more children soon, but the children needed more documentation before a match could be made.

After talking a bit longer, she mentioned the scenario of twin girls.  My husband became talkative and seemed very interested and excited about the idea of twin daughters.  Our current request was for one boy and one girl 30 months old or younger, but the thought of twin daughters hit his heart hard!  So the gender we are requesting was changed to two children, either one girl and one boy, or two girls.

Before we left we need to pay our $300 home study update fee.  I asked if we had any credit that we could put toward the payment.  She checked and the exact amount needed to pay the fee was already in our account!  I asked if she knew where the money came from.  She said she did and came back with the list.  Between Just Love Coffee sales and personal donations from people at our church the bill was paid in full on our behalf!

After the meeting was over and we had loaded the kids back into the van my husband said, “Twin girls would be perfect for us!  It would be wonderful if we get two daughters.”
Yet he has not left himself without testimony:
He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven
and crops in their seasons; HE PROVIDES you with plenty of
food and fills your hearts with joy.”  Acts 14:17 NIV
