We are very happy to be closer to both sets of grandparents (my oldest is out golfing with her Granddad as I type this). I am looking forward to a white Christmas. My husband is enjoying his new job and we are already making plans for our summer break together :) Our older three kids are all adjusting to their new school and beginning to make new friends. All five kiddos love their Awanas club and have learned to ride bikes (two without training wheels and three with). The twins are growing, growing, growing and have overcome so many obstacles. They seem to be more full of life and joy with every passing day. Fall in the mountains is beautiful here. We have enjoyed hiking and exploring many of the wonderful mountain trails. We hope to be in our new home a few weeks before Christmas and are all very excited to be settled finally!
It is hard to believe that it has been a little over a year since we got our first glimpse at our beautiful twins in a photo from the orphanage. They have been home for more than 6 months already and have changed SO much!

Lots of photos to get you caught up on some of our new adventures here in Idaho.
Our sweet Ruthie passed away a few days after we made it here. We miss her and I feel her absence every time I go for a jog. I am thankful that God blessed us with her companionship and for all the memories we have of her.

We deeply miss all of our sweet friends and our church family!!! We are still searching for a new church family and trying to listen for God's direction on where he wants us to be. I am struggling with some occational loneliness and am trying to overcome the challenge I have to open up with others, but I know new friendships and bonds will eventually blossom. God is good ALL of the time!
We have SO MUCH to be thankful for!
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and extol him with music and song. Psalm 95:1-2
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
