I wish you a Merry Christmas

It has been almost two months since our wait began.  I may have become more quite during that time, but these precious babies are still very much on our hearts and minds.  Especially since Christmas is just a few short days away.

Our big girl turned six last week and when a friend of ours ask what she wanted she said, "I want my baby brother and sister to have nice warm blankets, a soft pillow for their heads, and a cute toy to play with while they wait for us to come get them."  I am thankful for the tender heart God gave her.

We bought a great CD by Third Day last year called Christmas Offerings and this year as I was listening to the song "Merry Christmas" it captured my feelings this Christmas completely.  Even though we are having a very special Christmas this year; the kids are getting big enough to really get into the celebrations and understand the Christmas story (true meaning), and my brother was granted leave from the US Army to come home and celebrate with us, there is still an absents that I can't fill.  There are two children, my children, half way around the world spending Christmas alone in an orphanage.  So, what I want to say to my two sweet babies who will be very missed this Christmas is, "Tonight (and every night) I pray that God will come and hold you in His arms and tell you from my heart, I wish you a Merry Christmas."
