Where did you see Jesus this week?

 On vacation over the weekend, near Lolo Canyon above the Clearwater River, I got the opportunity to slooowwww down a bit and take notice of the gifts each day brought me.  I took my camera to capture some fun family and also got the chance to photograph some of the beautiful landscape.  As I look back through these pictures, I can see where Jesus was with me this week.  I can recognize the moments he gifted me:

       











                 -Mountainsides covered with wild flowers
                           -Crisp sunrises, blue skies, and vibrant sunsets
                                  -My Mom's home cooking!
                                         -A country rodeo parade
                                                -White river rapids and still lake water
                                                       -Campfire, s'mores, and four wheel'in
                                                              -Big red barns and tall grain silos
                                                                     -Fresh strawberries and kind neighbors
                                                                            -Does, fawns, and deer in velvet
                                                                                   -Cool drinks and a porch with a view
                                                                                           -Smiles and waves from perfect strangers

In the quite moments my soul felt settled in that simple life.  No cell phones, no computers, no door to door sales people, no telemarketers calling, just the most important things in life... my family!  A weekend where I could shed the nonsense and appreciate the joy of just "being" with loved ones.

The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.  He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.  He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Psalms 23:1-3
