My baby is going to be 2!

Picture taken on our last day at the hospital.
In just a few days my baby boy turns two!!!  I am SO thankful that I get to be his mommy and that he is my baby boy.  As I look at the picture above it is hard to believe how little he was...even though he was the biggest baby of our three (at ten days over due he had some time to pack on the pounds!).  He was definitely my most difficult deliver out of our three biological children and gave us all a fright we will never forget.  Thankfully, despite his delivery, he has been a very healthy and happy child.

For the past six months our little guy's favorite show has been Veggietales and LarryBoy.  His love for them has spread to the WHOLE family.  Yes, even daddy will occasionally watch a show with him.  And we all breakout in veggie tunes throughout the day.  He also has taken to his big brothers favorite character "Abugha"  aka Spiderman to the rest of the world.

I thank God daily for the precious gift he is to our lives, the joy and laughter he brings into our home, and for the opportunity to be his mommy.  Even on "CRAZY" days, like when I go all day long (to a school picnic, the park, and the grocery store, etc.) wearing my shirt inside-out unbeknownst to me...  I'm sure everyone who noticed was thinking, "She's a few eggs short of a carton!"  And days when very little/no productivity is made due to baby lotion smeared all over the bedroom, fruit loops and milk split on the carpet, and art work on the walls:o)  I continually pray that God will help me make my arrows straight and they will make a mark in this world, and that He will give me the strength, patients, and wisdom to be the mother he wants me to be to all of our amazing kiddos!!!  How blessed I am!

Happy Birthday Sweet Baby Boy!!!

"Don't you see that children are God's best gift?  The fruit of the womb his generous legacy?  Like a warrior's fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth.  Oh, how blessed are you parents, with your quivers full of children!  Your enemies don't stand a chance against you; you'll sweep them right off your doorstep."  Psalm 127:3-5
